The games are really fun for my tot. They are colorful and educational, and they hold his attention. BUT, the game teaches the names of shapes, and when the child draws a trapezoid, the game calls it a trapeze. A trapeze is a parallel bar hung between two ropes that is used as a swing for circus performers. A trapazoid is a shape with 4 sides in which only two opposite sides are parallel. I cant have my kid learning the wrong names for shapes so I will be removing this game until it is fixed. I will update my review if I find the problem has been fixed.

Playroom lessons with Max is an engaging learning game for children with several different areas for them to learn, while they are having fun! The bright animation, interactivity, and of course, the cat named Max, makes to so that children, like my son, do not even realizing they are learning. This app teaches counting, number recognition, visual spatial skills, patterns, colors, matching, and so much more. There are several very engaging sections, plus a game mix where kids can play an endless mix of all the different games! Who knew learning could be this fun for you child?!

Evaluating this app as an avid app user for educational purposes, i feel that this app is very functional and fun. I feel it is appropriate for younger children and children with disabilities. There are three language choices- English, Russian, Custom Voiceover (Create Your Own) and an option to turn the voice off. Filled with wonderful motivating cat and mouse you can go through each of the lessons. There are five lessons to choose from: Peekaboo; Colors & Numbers, Puzzles, Memory and Match OR you can have a wonderful mix of games and lessons. ***This app also has a protected menu for parents from children. Changes to the app cannot be made and is safe for children to use.*** PLEASE MAKE MORE LEVELS AND EXPAND!

This APP is an Educational Treasure! Tons of learning activities for kids! I love memory training exercise, finding a toy game is a great way to occupy childrens minds and help their cognitive development, also even when the game tests the ability to distinguish between colors the game simultaneously encourages counting. What a great way to multi task! It is a Fantastic app!! It is even fun to watch the mouse messing up the things for the kid so he fixes it. What a clever way to teach some problem solving at an early age! Treasure!

Just loved it. Me and my daughter had loads of fun playing with this app. Also liked the way parental settings are presented with a LOCK mechanism. Great job!

This app is very engaging and can be used developmentally for preschoolers as well as kids with more significant disabilities. Sure to provide hours of fun and teach kids at the same time!

Great app for preschoolers. Its very colorful and easy for little hands to manipulate. Each game has basic concepts integrated with play. This is a great app for speech/language impaired students. There are lots of opportunities for vocabulary development, sentence formulation, sorting, categorization, and conditional commands.

Super app for children 2-6 years old! Very engaging with fun pictures and colorful environments. Kids will not know they are learning while playing! This app supports early cognitive development through puzzles, visual matching, and memory games. The Game Mix feature takes you from one activity to the next to keep kids engaged. Really cute!

Well designed app for toddlers or older kids with special needs. Cute cat character, bright, engaging graphics. Easy to navigate and safe: adult settings are protected by a math problem. Settings allow you to turn off music and sound effects, as well as record your own voice. 5 different games or play a mix. More pre-academic skills please: letters, patterns, shapes. Color/number game is combined- if kids match by color they dont learn numbers.

This is an app that exceeds my expectations for an educational app. It works on problem solving, fine motor skills, labeling, sorting, and can be expanded to other categories when utilized with an adult educator. Along with all of those perks, there is the ability to record your own voice into the app to provide the directions. This is a great tool to customize and make this your own! I highly recommend this app for early learners!

My son totally loves this app!!! The variety of well-designed, fun activities keep him engaged for long while enhancing his cognitive skills. He particularly enjoys finding the hidden toys in the peekaboo game and he is thrilled to hear my own voice guiding him. The parents section is cleverly locked. Well done!

My kids love this game. It is really good at teaching them to look for what Max is asking for. It also teaches them colors in an interactive way. One of my kids is on the autism spectrum and it has done wonders for him!

There is a great selection of games for preschoolers. This will be a great app to reinforce skills my daughter already knows and also work on new skills. Well done.

Absolutely LOVE this app! This is a well thought out and engaging app for toddlers and preschoolers. There are 5 games in all, plus a game mix option to extend the ability to play and apply all the concepts learned. In peekaboo, you help Max, the cat, find his toys. Colors and numbers help not only teach beginning matching and sorting, but it also gives kids a chance to understand counting by using a 1:1 correspondence. I like that the puzzles have a greyed outline to help beginners be successful. Matching and a Memory game are also included. The graphics are bright and cheerful, but not too visually overstimulating. One of the features in settings, really make this app stand out, and that is the custom voice over so that you as a parent or teacher/therapist can deliver the social praise. Links to other apps, social media and settings are secured. I would highly recommend this to both families and clinicians. It will be in my permanent collection.
